As we all know, blogging, and social media in general, can be used to portray any life that we desire others to see, any perception we want people to have of us. Something picture-perfect can be created with the ability to carefully pick and chose which pictures and stories to post of us, our homes, our families, etc.
But I think at the end of the day most of us value authenticity and honesty, things much more encouraging and helpful.
That being said, here are a few messy shots from this week.
Some are just eyesores, some are moments used to strengthen character and dependency on God.
Messy kids room. Caedmon has repeatedly dumped the diaper basket out this week.
Unmade bed. If I get around to making it, it's usually during 2pm naptime.
Boys' closet. Desperately needs organizing and sorting.
Both struggling to take control of the train.
One upset, and one licking something off the floor.
Eggs burnt to the bottom of a pan. (Against the backdrop of our always-lovely green sink!)
And wilted flowers.
Happy Friday, friends!
